Originally from St. Paul, Nicole recently relocated to Red Wing after her husband accepted a position in the administration at Minnesota State College Southeast. Although the move is new, Red Wing has long been part of her family's story. With both her father and grandparents originally from the area, returning here has felt like a homecoming.

As Office Manager, Nicole works behind the scenes to help keep the ELC running smoothly, supporting our staff, families, and volunteers so our programs can provide meaningful outdoor experiences for youth. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and is currently working on her Master’s of Science in Integrative Nutrition at Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington. In her free time, Nicole loves gardening, cooking, and writing.

Nicole and her husband have three children, ages 26, 16, and 8. As a family, they love spending time outdoors and are often found at their property along the Mississippi River near Jacobson, Minnesota. Whether they're cutting trails, hiking, fishing, canoeing, or kayaking, the outdoors has always been an important part of their lives—making the ELC a natural fit.
