Programs

We build relationships, teach skills, and get kids outdoors.

Red Wing ELC programs are year-round for youth in 2nd grade through 12th grade

Our approach to outdoors education is a progressive-step, hands-on structure.

Students learn to problem solve, gain technical skills, and practice survival strategies, all while building self-esteem and character to last a lifetime.

Students begin with introductory day trips…

And, if they have a positive attitude, work hard and harness a sense of responsibility, they can progress to longer programs and travel on more challenging trips and expeditions. With every program completed, participants gain an appreciation of - and connection to - our natural environment.

We provide transformational outdoor experiences.

ELC programs like Biking, Backpacking, Canoeing, Cross-country Skiing, Kayaking, Rock Climbing, and Winter Camping challenge students physically and mentally while fostering perseverance, confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills.
